bad quality, blurry, better file File:Maximilian I as Emperor.JPG Oursana (talk) 20:31, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
--Historiograf (talk) 15:55, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
We should not immediately delete a particular photo just because it does not appear to be the first choice. This image has been uploaded in 2006 and has since then been used by quite a number of third party websites (see Google Images). As elaborated by Historiograf, a deletion could actually remove pictures elsewhere when they are hotlinked. And otherwise a significant link to the original upload is lost. And in case of paintings even slightly blurry pictures give an impression of the colors at a particular time. This is relevant information that is worth to be kept in a general media archive such as Wikimedia Commons. --AFBorchert (talk) 11:36, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
