Constelación del Hemisferio: NORTE-SUR (Zodíaco Euatorial).

Nombres de las Estrellas:

Alfa, ALRESCHA A y B - Del árabe: al-Rasha, "la cuerda, o nudo". Estrella doble, componentes de color blanco-verdoso.

Beta, FUM AL SAMAKAH - Del árabe: la boca del pez.

Delta, AL RESCHA - Del árabe: la soga, y todos aquellos nombres parecidos a alfa Pisces, las cuales forman el cordón o soga.

Zeta, ZIDADH A, B Y C - Del indú: la estación indú ZIDADH, el Riwand sogdiano.

Eta, KULLAT NUNU - Del babilonio: la cuerda o cordel de los peces.

Omicron, TORCULARIS SEPTENTRIONALIS - Del latín: la prensa del norte o septentrional.
