Red color
[edit]Based on law (UU 24 Tahun 2009), red color in this flag should be RGB 255-0-0 (NOT 206-17-39). Current RGB is same as File:Flag of Monaco.svg because it both created by User:SKopp and at the same day. Hddty. (talk) 01:22, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
- You're right. The specification is spelled out in Paragraph 1 of Article 4 of Government Regulation 24/2009, which can be seen on page 34 of the file here. NewYorkActuary (talk) 18:46, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- I strongly disagree. The RGB part on that law is stated on 'Penjelasan' section, which is non-binding and shouldn't be treated as the law itself. [1] [2]. In reality, the shade of the red is quite dark, and the previous version fits it well. Nobody use the R255 version. In fact, most of official government websites are using darker red versions of the flag, including but not limited to: Official Portal of Indonesia [3], Ministry of Defense (and their emblem)[4], and National Election Commision (KPU)(and their emblem).[5]--Yoshiharu10 (talk) 04:48, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
- You need more books to read, bro? ZanzibarSailor (talk) 22:43, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Hddty. appears to be right about the official specification. I do not remember why I chose this particular shade of red for this particular flag and I regret to say I seem to have documented it nowhere. I think this red was then intended to be an RGB-ization of Pantone 186 C, which is why you will find it in a couple of flags I uploaded at the time. --Sebastian Koppehel (talk) 21:44, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Yoshiharu10, even the creator himself agreed. ZanzibarSailor (talk) 22:44, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Template PD-Indonesia has been deprecated
[edit]Should we replace the old template? Because it's said to be deprecated on its own documentation page here. ZanzibarSailor (talk) 22:41, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
