When Does ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Part 2 Come Out? How Many Episodes are in ‘Stranger Things’ 5?
Will Byers’ (Noah Schnapp) transformation in the fifth and final Stranger Things season has caught fans’ eyes—including Sara Haines‘.
Schnapp discussed the major developments in his character Will Byers’ arc on the hit Netflix sci-fi drama with The View‘s Hot Topics Table on Monday, particularly the reveal at the end of Season 5, Part 1, in which fans learned that Will has powers similar to Mille Bobby Brown‘s Eleven.
However, Haines also pointed out that the 21-year-old actor has “not only grown up” since Stranger Things debuted in 2016, but he also “look[s] different,” citing his character’s infamous bowl cut that he lost in the new season.
“Your bowl cut the last four seasons launched a thousand memes, and one of my favorites is ‘the real monster in Stranger Things is Will’s barber,'” she teased.
As the meme was shown onscreen, featuring four pictures of Schnapp sporting the iconic ‘do, Schnapp quipped, “Ok, leave him alone!”
While Haines assured Schnapp that he looked”adorable” with the bowl cut, she also highlighted how Will has “kind of had this massive glow-up” in the latest season. Meanwhile Schnapp noted “the problem” at the root of the bowl cut’s longevity on the show.

“The problem was the bowl cut was part of—it was just natural,” he explained. “And then they just kept it and wouldn’t let him grow out of it,” he continued. “It overstayed its welcome.”
Haines replied, “Now the media is calling you ‘Hot Will.’ What is your reaction to that?”
“That is weird,” he shared. “I knew people would be excited about the kind of reveal. But that was not on my bingo card for this Will reveal. It’s funny though?”
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC. Stranger Things Season 5, Part 1 is streaming on Netflix.
