The phrase "in talks" is commonly used in written English to indicate that two or more people are discussing something with the aim of coming to an agreement. that is what in talks means 2.98.157.204 (talk) 22:06, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes that's what that phrase means, but the phrase "reportedly in talks" has a slightly different meaning. It means that there is speculation of said talks going on. Lavalizard101 (talk) 22:11, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

Cone snail redirect to Conidae

edit

Hi there, I see you boldly redirected and I quite agree, better to have one article than two on the same subject. There was content at Cone snail which is not present at Conidae; I trust you will ensure this content is not lost, and will be merging it into the Conidae article. Best wishes, Captainllama (talk) 01:47, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
