Add a citation for blunts being popular in homosexual communities. I agree. There should be a popular culture segment. I mean, look at the logo for the Southern rap duo UGK. It looks like the Swisher Sweets logo. And look at the late Pimp C's logo. Swisher Sweets. |

Not a forum
Remember folks, this talk page is for the article on Swisher Sweets. This is not a forum for discussing which kinds of cigars you like to smoke. Illinois2011 18:59, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Not about the Cigar?
This page incorrectly focuses on the Manufacturer instead of the actual product. If anyone with any knowledge on the topic could rewrite/expand the article that'd be great jcreek201 (talk) 00:19, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
In Popular Culture
Could someone add a section on Swisher Sweets in popular culture? Many rappers including 2Pac, Scarface, Ludacris, Lil' Wyte, UGK, Master P, etc. all mention Swisher Sweets in their lyrics. Also, although maybe not appropriate (and it would be hard to source) Swisher Sweets are very popular for their utilization as a blunt for cannabis smoking. Atlanta800 20:57, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

I agree. There should be a popular culture segment. I mean, look at the logo for the Southern rap duo UGK. It looks like the Swisher Sweets logo. And look at the late Pimp C's logo. Swisher Sweets. Curvebill (talk) 19:04, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
flavors, types, etc
would be good to have a complete listing of flavors, types, etc. for this brand.
From their new products page:
Goodies cigars (must be another "brand" under the Swisher Sweets name?) Come in Vanilla, Cigarillo size, and a longer lasting Palma size.
Another page lists: Strawberry, Chocolate, Peach, Grape, and Tequila flavored Blunts, Cigarillos, and Tips. Cherry is only available in 5 packs. and Peach not available in tips. --67.34.188.252 (talk) 20:34, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Sante Fe little cigars made by Swisher International in jacksonville, fla.
We live in Forsyth,Georgia 30129 about 12 miles north of macon, ga. We have been dedicated customers to the Sante Fe cigars, both regular flavor and the Menthol. We have always purchased them through our local Ingles Grocery Store, but the inventory has been --------- for about three weeks. My husband and I have checked Ingles in surrounding areas, but to no avail. It is rather ironic, when we began smoking them our friends used to tease us about them, but we enjoyed the little cigar so we didn't mind being teased. It looks as though everyone in our area has decided to follow in our footsteps, because we cannot find one pack of Sante Fe Cigars within fifty miles, being an experienced retail grocery person(rfetired) I figured the warehouse was out, causing Ingles not to be able to restock the ciigar. Surely ya'll haven't quit makeing them. I guess you could say my huisband and I were the Best advertisement Sante Fe Cigars could have ever gotten out inrthe publis, as the ole salespeople talk about in marketing.....the best amarketing tool is by mouth, one person normallly reaches nine other people, and then te ripple effect continues on! We would like to know how to order our Sante Fe Menthol, And Regular little cigars, tencartons, 5 of each flavor? I would appreciate you help in this matter. Oh by the way, I'm in the process of smonkin a pack of Swisher Sweet Menthol little cigars,, just not the same as mySante Fe. blunts
Why must every cheap cigar article mention that people use them to smoke weed. Its a little repetitive. It's already mentioned in the cannabis smoking article. Kjmic25 (talk) 04:26, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
- Snoop smoked one a Grape Swisher on Comedy Central's roast of Donald Trump, which was watched by 3.5 million viewers. Here he is opening it and here a few seconds later he is smoking it. Pop On The Pop reports on the cigar lighting [1] (although it doesn't mention the brand). But I think this gives credence to the argument that this brand itself has at least been a part of pop culture, so perhaps the editors should not be so quick to tell people that it doesn't warrant mentioning, and challenge the people that want it mentioned to find a reliable citation that backs up the claim. About Blunts, the importance =
Wikipedia is not bias and any knowledge relative and important to swisher sweets should be included (even if the topic in the article has appeared in other articles similar-referring to the complaint above about repetition). Every article is independent. That being said, with the right sources of information, swisher sweets for the use of cannabis smoking needs to be in this article. There is simply too many people that use Swisher Sweets specifically for that purpose and I'm positive there is even sources of info that can support even going as far as saying majority of their profits go to blunt smoking. There should at least be a mention of its popularity in the cannabis community in some sort of pop-culture section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mr.Reifer (talk • contribs) 08:38, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- I agree. Swisher Sweets seems to have "gone critical" in terms of culture. I'm certain that references can be found to how popular they are for marijuana cigarettes, or even just how popular they are within cannabis culture itself. Just keep looking for some reliable sources of information regarding the culture. If none can be found, then none can be found. But it would be good to work on our research skills anyway. A claim is made, this time about Swisher Sweets and cannabis culture, so you can look for references to the truth of the claim and then demonstrate convincingly that the claim is true (or conversely, that no reliable sources could be found). Searching for references to something about a subculture can be challenging though. SmallEditsForLife (talk) 19:33, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
