List of episodes

"Game Done Changed” is the 10th episode of the thirty-fourth season of The Simpsons. The episode aired on Fox on December 4, 2022.

In this episode, Bart discovers a glitch in the online game Boblox, and starts exploiting the glitch on old school computers to traffic money, with Principal Skinner getting in on the scheme.

Plot

Bart discovers a glitch in the online multiplayer game Boblox (parody of Roblox) that allows him to duplicate items on old computers, so he uses the outdated PCs at school to start a Boblox farm racket. When Principal Skinner finds out, Bart convinces him to join in with promises that they can use the profits to benefit Springfield Elementary. Meanwhile, Marge discovers that she can communicate with Maggie in Boblox via emojis allowing her baby daughter to finally "talk" with her.

Production

In April 2022, the third episode of the 34th production season was revealed. Michael Price confirmed it and revealed Bart’s major role in the episode.[1]

Cultural references

Boblox is a reference to the online multiplayer video game Roblox. And the currency Bobux is a reference to Roblox’s currency Robux. Bobux’s symbol is likely also referencing Bitcoin.

At the start is another video game parody, in which Bart plays a game similar to Assassin's Creed.
