The Miss New York competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of New York in the Miss America pageant. Miss New York has won the Miss America Crown six times:

Also competing were Miss Central New York and Miss Riverside whose names are not known.
1926 No Miss New York Ruth K. Patterson, Miss Greater New York and Catherine Kennedy, Miss Yonkers were Finalists in the pageant. There were also contestants representing Bay Ridge, Elmira and Oswego whose names are not known.
1925 No Miss New York Edith Higgins, Miss Bronx; Beatrice Roberts, Miss New York City & Fern Jackson, Miss Syracuse were Finalists in the pageant. Also representing New York were: Ethel Grossback, Miss Bay Ridge; Grace Marie Carr, Miss Catskill Mountains; Florence V. Andrews, Miss Watertown; Emma Soltis, Miss Westchester & Wilma Engle, Miss Yonkers. There was also a Miss Brooklyn who competed whose name is not known.
1924 No Miss New York Beatrice Roberts, Miss Manhattan was a Finalist and Margie Booth, Miss Greater New York was a Semi-Finalist. Also representing New York were: Helene Goebbel, Miss Bronx; Frances Robinson, Miss Catskill Mountains; Agnes I. Leonard, Miss Coney Island; Mary Griggs, Miss Newburgh; Mary Carlson, Miss Queens; Katherine Skuse, Miss Rochester; Alma Jeanne Williams, Miss Syracuse; Hilda Farrell, Miss Watertown & Florence Kreisler, Miss Yonkers. Also competing were Miss Bay Ridge, Miss Brooklyn and Miss Richmond whose names are not known.
1923 No Miss New York Ethelda Kenvin, Miss Brooklyn was 1st runner-up and Heather Eunice Walker, Miss Coney Island was 2nd runner-up. Also representing New York were: Peggy Ross, Miss Albany; Bonita Bement, Miss Binghamton; Edithea Wild, Miss Brighton Beach; Irene Knight, Miss Buffalo; Peggy Shevlin, Miss New York City; Neid Tell, Miss Niagara Falls; Leta Cowles, Miss Rochester & Eileen Snyder, Miss Syracuse.
1922 No Miss New York Dorothy Knapp competed as Miss New York City and was the "Professional Beauty Winner."
