No titles? Try these tips:
Get help from a librarian:
From home, click Catalog Home, and click Ask Us.
Email your question to a Reference Librarian, or phone in a question during open hours.
Try a different kind of search:
- Click Search Catalog in upper right corner, then:
- Try doing a BROWSE search by Author, typing just the first few letters of the author's last name.
- Do a BROWSE search by SUBJECT. Cross-references with a record may also help you find related subjects.
- Do a PHRASE search by Title, typing in a short phrase portion of the title.
- Do an ADVANCED search, using different combinations of terms and search fields (AUTHOR,TITLE, SUBJECT, etc.)
Check your search text:
- Click Spelling Help for spelling help and suggestions.
- Click Dictionary on the search toolbar to access the dictionary.
- Click Thesaurus on the search toolbar to find related words (synonyms).
Run your search later:
If you think the library may not yet own items you are looking for, click Save Search to run your search automatically again at specified intervals. Automatic searches check for items that are new since the last time the search was run. |
