The article does not explain errors.Is and errors.As.

I don't see blog posts as living documents—they capture the state of affairs at the time of publication. Otherwise, every blog post would need constant updates. It would actually be confusing to read a blog post dated 2011 that refers to events or information from 2025.

I agree. No need to re-write the blog post. But adding a warning at the top would help new users a lot.

Ideal would be a link to the new error handling (with errors.Is() and errors.As()).
