Are there any plans to add s2 compression for the gRPC client?

Recently, we got an increase in traffic to our Loki and Mimir deployments, and because we are using zone-aware replication, our costs increased as well. We are trying to find as many optimizations as we can to reduce costs. One of the things we found was compression.
We are using snappy already, but it was not enough. We tried gzip, but the CPU usage was not worth the trade-off.

Not so long ago, S2 support has been added to Mimir, and we've been using it for some time now, and it worked great (we reduced the cost, and performance trade-off is great).

Would love to see S2 compression added to Loki as well.
