We have been working on a new build utility that should make compiling libflux much easier at https://github.com/influxdata/pkg-config. We need to integrate that work into flux.

Based on our conversation from planning this morning. The DOD is:

  • remove symlinks
  • remove flux-config and related hacks
  • make sure that pkg-config works with CI
