I'm excited about this project but there's a lot already here and seems like a lot more to come...
Are there any tasks that might be good to start getting more familiar with this?

Hey @hbmartin! As of right now I've left this repo in a bit of an intermediate state while I work on a new storage engine that's being built separately from SQLSync. Hence it's a bit idle and mostly serves to showcase the idea + gather together ideas from the community on where to go from here.

So the most valuable thing you could help with is use cases + helping plan roadmap. I'd be happy to riff on these ideas if you're interested in the discord!
