방향을 지시하는 기호
(⇄에서 넘어옴)
화살표는 방향을 가리키거나 표시하는 데 사용되는 ← 또는 →와 같은 그래픽 기호 또는 그림문자이다. 가장 간단한 형태의 화살표는 일반적으로 선분이나 직사각형에 부착된 삼각형,[1] 갈매기 모양 또는 오목한 연꼴 모양이며, 더 복잡한 형태에서는 실제 화살을 표현한다(예: ➵ U+27B5). 화살표로 표시된 방향은 선 또는 직사각형의 길이를 따라 하나의 뾰족한 끝을 향하는 방향이다.
