English: Penmachno Parish Church The parish church of St. Tudclud built in 1857 stands in the centre of the village where originally stood two churches. Penmachno was an important early Christian centre, and the church has an outstanding collection of inscribed stones from the late 5th and mid 6th century AD. It is also repputed that Iorwerth ab Owain Gwynedd, the father of Llywelyn the Great (Llywelyn Fawr) was buried here.
