Deskrifans First Minister Rhodri Morgan today welcomed a special guest to the Senedd in Cardiff Bay. It was an opportunity for the First Minister to congratulate Tori James from Clarbeston Road, Pembrokeshire on her achievements in becoming the first Welsh woman and the youngest British woman to reach the summit of Everest. Tori reached the summit of Everest at 7.30am on May 24 this year and in doing so, became the first Welsh woman and the youngest British woman to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain. Tori was part of a team of four from the London Business School, who were raising funds for the Prince’s Trust.
