Charles Henry Selick (born November 30, 1952) is an American stop motion director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the stop-motion animation movies The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), James and the Giant Peach (1996), Coraline (2009), and Wendell and Wild (2022) with Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key.
