The Nicene Creed is a Christian statement of faith that expresses belief in the Trinity, the doctrine of three equal Persons (God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). It was endorsed by St. Gregory of Nazianzus and is still authoritative in many Christian churches, including Roman Catholicism, Eastern Christianity, and most Protestant churches.
