Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Probable with illness
Strawther is probable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors with an illness.
Strawther is likely to play through an illness, but his presence hasn't caused major waves in the Denver rotation. He hasn't played at least 20 minutes since the Nov. 8 win over the Pacers.

Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Scores 11 points
Watson posted 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 32 minutes during Monday's 147-123 loss to Miami.
Nikola Jokic left this game early and is expected to miss at least four weeks with a hyperextended left knee. The Nuggets are already thin in the frontcourt, and it's likely that Watson is asked to step up offensively. Additionally, his workloads should be even more secure in the short term.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Out four-plus weeks with knee issue
The Nuggets announced Tuesday that Jokic has been diagnosed with a left knee hyperextension injury and will be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Jokic sustained the injury in the closing seconds of the second quarter of Monday's 147-123 loss to the Heat and was unable to return for the second half. After the Nuggets sent in the three-time MVP in for further tests, Jokic appears to have avoided any major structural damage to his knee but is nonetheless expected to remain out through at least the end of January. Jonas Valanciunas opened the second half of Monday's game with the Nuggets' starters and is the most likely candidate to see his fantasy value climb in Jokic's absence, though he still played only 16 minutes in the loss to Miami. Additionally, reserve big men such as Zeke Nnaji and DaRon Holmes could become more involved in the rotation, and the Nuggets could also lean more heavily on small-ball lineups featuring Peyton Watson or, once healthy, Aaron Gordon (hamstring) at center.

Nuggets' Jonas Valanciunas: Plays 16 minutes in loss
Valanciunas notched six points (3-3 FG), four rebounds, one assist and one block across 16 minutes during Monday's 147-123 loss to Miami.
Nikola Jokic left this game with a knee injury and looked to be in a lot of discomfort. If he ends up missing any time, Valanciunas is the next man up for Denver and would likely slot in as the fill-in starter. If that happens, his per-minute upside would make him an obvious grab in fantasy hoops.

Nuggets' Bruce Brown: Plays well in loss
Brown registered 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes during Monday's 147-123 loss to the Heat.
All eyes are on Denver and the status of Nikola Jokic after he suffered a knee injury that cut his night short. If the superstar center misses time, the Nuggets will need a handful of guys to step into larger roles, and Brown is certainly one of them for his two-way versatility. He's on the radar as a fantasy pickup depending on what news Jokic gets.

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Season-high five threes Monday
Jones closed with 16 points (5-6 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 33 minutes during Monday's 147-123 loss to the Heat.
Jones connected on a season-high five three-pointers during Monday's loss and tied a season high with three steals. He has logged double-digit points in each of his last three outings, and over that span he has shot 10-for-15 from three-point range. Jones figures to remain in the Nuggets' starting lineup for as long as Christian Braun (ankle) and Cameron Johnson (knee) are sidelined.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Double-double vs. Miami
Murray tallied 20 points (9-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt), 11 assists, six rebounds and one steal over 35 minutes during the Nuggets' 147-123 loss to the Heat on Monday.
Murray finished Monday's game as the Nuggets' leader in assists and second in points behind Nikola Jokic, the latter of whom left late in the second quarter due to a knee injury. It was Murray's eighth double-double of the regular season, three of which have come over his last four outings. Of concern for the Nuggets is Jokic's knee injury, and if the three-time MVP were to miss time, Murray would be the one to take on the responsibility of running Denver's offense.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Won't return vs. Miami
Jokic (knee) won't return to Monday's game against the Heat, Sam Amick of The Athletic reports.
Jokic went down late in the second quarter and limped to the locker room before eventually being ruled out for the remainder of the game with a left knee injury. He'll finish with 21 points (9-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight assists and five rebounds in 19 minutes. If the three-time MVP is forced to miss additional time, Jonas Valanciunas and Zeke Nnaji are candidates for increased playing time. Jokic's next chance to play will come Wednesday against the Raptors, and the Nuggets are expected to provide an update on his status by Tuesday night.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Officially questionable to return
Jokic is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Heat due to a left knee injury.
Jokic went down at the end of the first half and was ultimately able to walk off under his own power. However, his status for the remainder of the matchup remains up in the air. Jonas Valanciunas started the third quarter in Jokic's place.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Limps to locker room Monday
Jokic exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent left knee injury in the second quarter of Monday's game against the Heat, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports.
Jokic went down late in the second quarter and grabbed at his left knee before limping back to the locker room. If the superstar big man is unable to return for the second half, Jonas Valanciunas and Zeke Nnaji will likely pick up the slack the rest of the way.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: May return during road trip
Nuggets head coach David Adelman said Saturday that Gordon (hamstring) could return at some point during the back end of the team's ongoing seven-game road trip, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports.
Gordon hasn't played since Nov. 21 due to a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, but he joined the Nuggets on the road trip and was able to complete a pregame workout prior to Saturday's 127-126 loss in Orlando, per Winge. The 12th-year forward will remain out for Monday's game in Miami and is unlikely to be available for Wednesday's game in Toronto, but based on Adelman's comments, a return in the first week of January would appear to be a realistic outcome.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Could return during road trip
Nuggets head coach David Adelman said Saturday that Braun (ankle) could return at some point during the back end of the team's ongoing seven-game road trip, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports.
Braun hasn't played since Nov. 12 due to a significant left ankle sprain, but he joined the Nuggets on the road trip and was able to complete a pregame workout prior to Saturday's 127-126 loss in Orlando, per Winge. The fourth-year wing will remain out for Monday's game in Miami and is unlikely to be available for Wednesday's game in Toronto, but based on Adelman's comments, a return in the first week of January would appear to be a realistic outcome.

Nuggets' Tim Hardaway: Making most of opportunity
Hardaway closed Saturday's 127-126 loss to Orlando with 20 points (6-14 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 33 minutes.
Hardaway has moved into the starting lineup due to the absence of Cameron Johnson (knee), and it's safe to say the former is making the most of his opportunity. Including starts and bench appearances, this was Hardaway's fourth straight game with at least 19 points while shooting an impressive 20-for-46 from three-point range over that stretch. Hardaway should remain productive as long as he continues to make the most of his floor-spacing ability while sharing the floor with Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Scores 24 despite shooting woes
Murray finished Saturday's 127-126 loss to the Magic with 24 points (9-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 37 minutes.
Murray didn't have his best shooting performance in this loss, as he needed 21 shots to record 24 points, but even when considering the lack of efficiency, the star floor general continues to post excellent numbers. Murray has scored at least 24 points in each of his last four games, and he's cleared the 30-point plateau in four of his previous seven. Even if the Nuggets are a bit depleted in terms of depth, Murray continues to deliver excellent numbers across the board and is making a strong case to be an All-Star.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Another massive triple-double
Jokic racked up 34 points (11-22 FG, 12-13 FT), 21 rebounds, 12 assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 127-126 loss to the Magic.
Jokic posted a triple-double for the third time over his last four outings, and the star big man continues to unlock new levels of dominance on a game-to-game basis. Opposing defenses have been unable to stop him, and Jokic continues to find ways to impact the game on both ends of the court -- regardless of who he has in front of him. Jokic has six triple-doubles and four double-doubles across 12 appearances in December.
