Electronic submissions of BIDS for construction of the Town of Bayfield 2026 Crack Sealing Project will be received at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

The project generally consists of the following:

Cleaning, drying, and applying ASTM D6690 Type II crack sealant to the cracks in asphalt pavement throughout the Town of Bayfield. This contract will not exceed $100,000.00.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Durango City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 during the regular Council Meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 949 Second Avenue. This is a request to hold a public hearing to consider an ordinance regarding the proposed text amendments to the City of Durango Code of Ordinances Chapter 27, the Land Use and Development Code regarding electric fences and mats, and related definitions. At the direction of City Council, Community Development Department staff are proposing Text Amendments to the Land Use and Development Code (LUDC) and Code of Ordinances related to electric fences and mats. These LUDC and Code of Ordinances Text Amendments introduce standards and a process by which electric fences and mats may be permitted to increase public safety by deterring wildlife, such as bears, from human spaces.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public is invited to attend and present written and/or oral testimony regarding this proposal. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Durango City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 during the regular Council Meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 949 Second Avenue. This is a request to hold a public hearing to consider an ordinance
regarding the proposed text amendments to the City of Durango Code of Ordinances Chapter 6, Buildings and Building Regulations, regarding electric fences. To accomplish the goal of adopting standards and a process for the permitting of electric fences and mats, there are two sections of City code to be amended. This ordinance is a companion to updating Chapter 27 of the Durango Code of Ordinances, regarding electric bear fencing.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public is invited to attend and present written and/or oral testimony regarding this proposal. Written comments (or emailed comments which can be sent to [email protected]) from those who cannot attend but want their opinions considered in Council’s deliberations must be received by noon on Monday, February 2, 2026 by the City Clerk’s office, 949 Second Avenue, Durango, CO 81301. Please take notice (1) a demand has been filed with the Animas Consolidated Ditch Company, hereinafter "the Ditch Company" in accordance with C.R.S. 7-42-114 to 117, that Cimarron Golf Partners, LLC is the owner of Stock Certificate No 2037-A issued by the Ditch Company on 12/09/2024, that said stock certificate has not been transferred, sold, assigned or pledged, and that the stock certificate has been lost mislaid or destroyed, that the assessments for the stock certificate have been paid, and demanding that the Ditch Company issue a duplicate stock certificate in the name of Cimarron Golf Partners, LLC; (2) That the Ditch Company will issue, on or after a date therein stated, following the last publication of the notice by at least thirty days, a duplicate certificate to Cimarron Golf Partners, LLC unless a contrary claim is filed with the Ditch Company prior to 03/06/2026. Claims should be filed with the Animas Consolidated Ditch Company, PO Box 3777, Durango, CO 81302.

Notice is hereby given that the annual meeting of the PINE RIVER IRRIGATION DISTRICT will be held at the Bayfield High School Performing Arts Auditorium (South Entrance) 800 County Road 501, Bayfield, CO 81122 on Saturday January 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Sign in will start at 12:30 p.m. As is procedure at such a meeting, one director will be elected for a 3-year term and any other business that may properly come before the Board of Directors.
