Ryan is from Los Angeles, California where he grew up writing and illustrating his own stories and graphic novels from an early age. After graduating from Pepperdine University with a liberal arts degree in '98, he pursued a two track career as an actor and storyboard artist for several years. As a storyboard artist he has drawn numerous films, TV episodes, and commercials. Over the years he has also written feature length screenplays as well as several TV pilots. He directed an award winning short film entitled, "Off the Grid" in 2009, several music videos, and marketing videos for clients in the pet space, medical space, and for non profits. Ryan lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and son.
