Jeremy's most famous movie was never made (sort-of)... In 1975,
George Lucas
was developing THE STAR WARS for Universal Studios. Jeremy was the
first (uncredited) American Production Designer, who conceived &
designed the original "Wizard of Oz" storyline concept & Space-OZ like
Characters; Tin-Man, Lion, Scarecrow, Wicked Witch, Flying Monkeys, and
the original design for R2D2 character [a never used Space-Oz Robot Dog
(RD) "Toto" (2+2)] who "bark"-talked. The experts at Universal didn't
think a "space" movie would make-it, so they pulled-the-plug on Lucas'
development option, and THE STAR WARS project was killed! Two years
later it was picked-up by 20th Century Fox, produced in England... and
the rest is history.
