- Gave birth to her 1st child at age 31, a son named Oliver Michael Jacobs on June 29, 2011. Child's father is her husband, Matthew Jacobs.
- Filmed a few appearances for the television series, "Manchester Prep" (1999), a spin-off of the hit movie Cruel Intentions (1999). She played "Millicent Davies", rival to Kathryn (Amy Adams). The series was not picked up despite having several episodes filmed, and was later edited to make the movie Cruel Intentions 2 (2000). Sarah's scenes were not used, although she appears frequently in the trailer.

- Filming Chuck (2007), a one-hour comedy premiering Monday, September 24 at 8:00 PM on NBC, where she portrays "Ellie". (July 2007)
