Hailing from the Hudson Valley, Hunter dipped his toes into the acting pool early on. By 5 he had landed several national television commercials and acted in a major TV Mini-series. He went on to graduate from Syracuse University with a degree in film and drama studies. After college he moved to NYC where he studied improv at The Pit, and worked in various capacities on multiple film and television productions. Finally, in 2015 he teamed up with his college buddies Peter Davis and Eric Laplante to form the directing trio known as Calyer. As of 2023, Hunter directs and acts in commercials he creates with Calyer.
