Keith Shartle(1952-2000)

Keith Shartle joined Dream Quest in 1982 and soon thereafter became
their production manager and visual effects producer. In 1988 Dream
Quest he became Executive Producer for the company's feature film
visual projects, and was later appointed President of the Dream Quest
Images Film Group. He was DQI's Executive Producer of Visual Effects
overseeing projects which included the Oscar-winning effects for The
Abyss and Total Recall, and the Oscar-nominated effects for The Mask
and Armageddon. In 1998 he left DQI for Will Vinton Studios in
Portland, Oregon, to become Vice President, Production.
