A statue of Mac, the wacky yet lovable alien from 1988’s Mac and Me, goes on sale today at 12pm Et from Bottleneck Gallery.

Priced at $85, the 6″ hand-painted resin statue is limited to 125 and comes with a digital numbered certificate of authenticity.

“We’ve often sat around wishing we had a 6-inch Mac to share time with, and so, we made just that,” Bottleneck Gallery writes. “We’re happy to announce a limited edition resin statue of Mac, sculpted to perfection and ready to be a part of your life!”

A bonkers cash-in on the popularity of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial with aggressive product placement from McDonald’s and Coca-Cola, Mac and Me is directed by Stewart Raffill.

Jade Calegory, Christine Ebersole, Lauren Stanley, Jonathan Ward, and Tina Caspary star in the cult classic. Jennifer Aniston and Nikki Cox appear as uncredited extras.

Katie Waissel‘s future on the X Factor could be in jeopardy, after it was revealed that she already has a management contract and record deal in place.

Katie divided opinions during her X Factor tryout in London. She performed Queen’s We Are The Champions and Etta James’ At Last and while Cheryl loved her quirky style and Simon thought she was ‘likable,’ Louis Walsh thought she was ‘all style and no substance.’ Katie did do enough to win a place in bootcamp and sources suggested that she had already made it through to the judges houses round.

A 23-year-old has suggested that she was sent home from the X Factor boot camp because she was heavily pregnant. Lauren Stanley, half of duo Black And Gold with 19-year-old partner Verity Morley, won over the judges during their audition in May, Metro reports.
