Mark Ruffalo took over from Edward Norton in the MCU. The Avengers featured Mark Ruffalo in the role of Bruce Banner/ The Hulk, a role that he did not essay in The Incredible Hulk. Joe Rogan believes that Ruffalo’s predecessor, Edward Norton, was the best Hulk that there was, putting him even above Eric Bana’s version of the character.

Edward Norton’s version of the character was widely well-received for the emotional complexity that he brought to the table with The Hulk. However, Mark Ruffalo’s version of the character, especially with Smart Hulk (who debuted in Avengers: Endgame), has not struck a chord with Joe Rogan, who loved how terrifying Edward Norton’s Hulk was.

Joe Rogan has never been shy about sharing his thoughts, whether it’s about fighting, science, or superheroes. While he’s expressed respect for Marvel, his opinion on DC—especially Superman—is harsh. In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan made it clear that he doesn’t like Superman, even going as far as to call him ‘stupid.’
The conversation started when Matt Serra, a former UFC champion, brought up the teaser for a new Superman movie. He asked Rogan if he had seen the trailer, hoping to get a reaction. Instead, Rogan quickly shut it down, saying he had no interest. ‘I’m a grown man. I don’t even like Superman,’ he said.
When Serra pressed him further, asking if he was really skipping the movie, Rogan doubled down with his critique. He called the entire idea of Superman ridiculous, pointing out flaws in the character’s concept.

Regardless, Rogan has recently sparked another heated debate when he with a bunch of his friends started deconstructing Anthony Mackie’s recent comments about Captain America.
While Mackie’s comments have already been a hot topic among fans, Joe Rogan’s insight into the matter has only seemed to fuel it even more. Interestingly, what caught people’s attention even more was the advice they had for the actor.

Let’s get one thing straight – Mark Ruffalo’s Smart Hulk was a hot mess. While in theory, it seems fun that Bruce Banner and Hulk would join hands and become one, since when has the green rage monster been fun? He is known for his desire to Smash anything and anyone in his way. The best part about the Og Avenger was the dynamic between its two halves – Banner’s calmness and Hulk’s intensity. It was a treat to watch the two struggle for air.

Then came Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk and everything changed for the better. Sure, he isn’t really our Hulk but at least he is better than what we were given in Avengers: Endgame, staying true to his name and all. It really made us wonder, will the Russo Brothers redeem themselves in the upcoming films,...
