Tom Wilkinson(III)

Tom has worked in the British film industry for over twenty years, starting out as runner on commercials in the late 90's. He joined the camera department as a trainee on the 4th Harry Potter Film (Goblet of Fire) and has since worked his way up through all grades, working on major Feature Films, Commercials and TV Dramas. Tom has been a Camera / Steadicam Operator since 2013, he sees his role as a Camera Operator being a creative force, working closely with he DOP and the Director, helping them to achieve their vision. Constantly aware of script narrative but of course adding his own creativity and instinct between the words 'Action' and 'Cut'! Tom enjoys the disciplines of both 'A' and 'B' camera operating roles and has also done quite a bit of work as a splinter DOP for insert shots on various projects, including Star Wars - Rogue One and Mission Impossible 6. He has recently won a Guild of television Cameramen (GTC) award for "Excellence in Camera Operation" for his work on BBC 1's Doctor Foster. Tom's website can be found at tomsteadicam.
