Daniela Richer is a Mexican screenwriter born in 1980. She graduated from ITESM (Monterrey) in 2004. At early age, she began writing short stories and small onstage scripts. Her winning publication for a thriller contest in the local newspaper (Reforma), placed her on the spot. Her career began when she was hired as an assistant for an ongoing telenovela while being trained for language adaptation on one of Dreamwork's animated feature films Over the Hedge (2006) . Her collaboration earned her a scholarship for a master's degree on screenwriting and audiovisual development in Universidad de los Andes (Santiago, Chile. 2007) Back in Mexico, Daniela created four original shows Morir en Martes (2010) , Morir en Martes 2 (2011) , Hoy Soy Nadie (2012) , Cuenta Pendiente (2014) broadcast in Televisa Networks, and her international breakthrough came with El Dragón: Return of a Warrior (2019) for W Studios and Netflix.
