Stefan Gieren earned an Academy Awards nomination with his graduation film "Raju". He has since produced the docudrama "Kunduz, feature thriller "Radio Silence" and turkish-german drama "Toz Bezi" (Berlinale Forum 2016) while running two educational TV-stations in Afghanistan.
His films and projects have won more than 80 international awards and have seen support by FFHSH, MDM, BKM, FFA, Film- und Medienstiftung, German-Polish CoDevelopment Fund and Kuratorium Junger Deutscher Film.
He is specializing on international coproductions in arthouse cinema and on projects with a potential for interactive distribution.
