Melina C. Smith is a colorist, editor, and cinematographer in the New York area with a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University. She started filmmaking in her sophomore year of high school and has worked on a variety of media such as feature films, television, commercial, and documentary content. Her experience includes both production, where she largely focuses on cinematography, and post production where she has experience as an editor and colorist. As an employee at post facilities, she has worked on both short form and long form content for clients ranging from big studios to indie filmmakers. She has worked on many short films, including "Always", "Blackout", "Elenoir", "Centralia, America's Lost Town", and "Spot Meets Spot". She also colored her first feature film, "Assumption of Risk", when she was 21 years old. She is known for her work on A Quiet Place Part II (2020), Chaos Walking (2020), The Menu (2022), Shotgun Wedding (2022) and more.
