Review of Penelope

I thought this movie would be about a woman overcoming trauma and survival in the woods. But instead 90% of it is completely unbelievable. It becomes so distracting I couldn't even watch it. She goes into the woods with zero knowledge of survival. She has NO water, money and basically wearing pajama pants. She makes friends with a bear cub?? Not even considering the fact that it's mother is going to come looking for it? She's stupidly comes to an end of a trail sign but just keeps walking for some dumb reason. At one point she's building her second campsite. This is supposed to be after many days if not weeks. Yet, she has full on pink, dewey makeup and her hair is spotless and beautiful. All of her clothes, even her hiking boots are spotless. She still looks this way when she's building her so-called log cabin. It looks like she's been wearing the same jeans the entire movie. She's even shown fishing in these jeans but somehow they're still spotless. Nothing is ripped or dirty. She was sleeping next to a still pond, which would have been covered with bugs and mosquitoes. Yet, she doesn't have one bug bite or scratch on her body. Did you have any Continuity or Survival Experts on this at all?
