The Nowhere Boys are drawn together for one final spell when Felix finds a magically sealed Book of Shadows. Unknowingly the spell releases a powerful teenage force of chaos and revenge that threatens their world.
The guys continue to investigate their "disappearance" by searching the school records, Sam finds clues of his existence from their usual timeline and finds his doppelganger.
The guys are trapped in a storm that leaves strange markings outside their hideout. Felix and Sam go to find protective charms against what caused the freak storm, Andy and Jake try to catch what they think left the markings.
Felix spends time with his younger brother and they are attacked by a swarm of bees, they go to Phoebe to get help from The Book of Shadows, Jake and Andy try to earn some money.
Jake gets arrested by his "dad", Felix continues to read in The Book of Shadows about the elements, Andy is followed by crows, Phoebe shows up to help.
The boys go back to school and try to fit in again but struggle with piecing together old relationships with new ones. However, there's a far more dangerous priority they must deal with as another mysterious force of nature arises.
The boys are suspicious of Pheobe and her involvement in their predicament. Later they figure out what it is that's chasing them and how they might get back to their own time line.
The boys go on the school excursion from their current time line in an attempt to retrace their steps and return home. While in the forest the boys are stalked by their demon, and Andy, Felix, and Jake consider staying.
Sam is haunted by a voice telling him to get the talisman and destroy it, meanwhile Felix looks for spells in the Boof of Shadows to help them with their demon problem, and to find something that might locate Alice.
It's Mother's Day and the boys try to be with their mothers but something is affecting them. The boys set out to find out what's happening and how to fix it. Andy figures out what magic brought them there which threatens to tear them apart.
The boys try to fix the broken talisman but realize they need a Fifth element. The police come for the guys while Mr. Bates, who is possessed by a demon, hunts for Felix who is searching for the remaining element.
Andy, Jake, and Sam go to the forest with Phoebe to rescue Felix from Mr. Bates. Felix finds Roland who tries to help. While fighting the demons in the forest the boys finally figure out who their attacker is.
Felix, Andy, Jack, and Sam are back in their own time line but they are different from when they first crossed over. During an interview Felix spots Alice who later turns up outside Pheobe's place weak and feverish. Andy gets into trouble.
Pressure mounts on Felix, Jake and Sam as they are questioned by the police about Andy's disappearance. Meanwhile Oscar tries to find the book of shadows by making a connection with Alice.
Felix, Jake, and Sam do a reversal spell to get Andy back but it doesn't work. They try to get Phoebe to help but she won't, and then Alice offers to assist them, but something goes wrong.
Overwhelmed, Ellen tries to process their journey to the other universe and refuses to talk to Felix, while Jake is shocked to discover that Cop Gary has followed them through the portal.
The talisman is missing - Jake and Felix are at loggerheads as to where it is. Could Saskia be to blame? Meanwhile, Andy meets a cloaked figure while trying to find a way out of negative space.
The search for Andy takes Felix, Jake, Sam and Ellen back to the alternate universe. But they have to be quick, Felix fears the restoring demon isn't far behind them.
Felix asks Alice if he can swap places with Andy, but is interrupted when Phoebe loses control of her new powers. Due to this, the Restoring Demon returns, but this time it is Andy.
The gang discover Andy is trapped in Negative Space due to Alice hacking Andy's spell; and Alice lures Oscar to the river and offers to cast a spell to make him walk again.
