This powerful and thought provoking film chronicles the compelling events in the Pacific Theater of WWII, from the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941 to the American occupation of Japan in 1945. It depicts the strength and courage of America's youth, while examining how these men and women dealt with being thrust into this brutal war. The film includes interviews with war veterans, both American and Japanese, from all branches of the military. It features testimony from medics, nurses, dog handlers, as well as Japanese-Americans who were imprisoned at internment camps in the United States. The film also includes a first hand account of the tragic impact of the atomic bomb on Japanese citizens. Among the veterans who appear is Zenji Abe, a Japanese veteran who flew the mission to bomb Pearl Harbor, and retired General Paul Tibbets who flew the mission to bomb Hiroshima. Steven Spielberg and historian/author Stephen E. Ambrose are executive producers of this feature-length documentary directed and produced by Academy Award winning filmmaker James Moll ("The Last Days"). The film is a presentation of the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana.

"Make Peace or Die: The First Days of War in Iraq with 1 Battalion 5 Marines" is a boots-on-the-ground account of the treacherous three-week journey from the oilfields of Kuwait to Saddam Hussein's palace in Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom with one of the most decorated units in the U.S. military. Footage from embedded reporters, Department of Defense archives, digital images from individual Marines, and interviews conducted by a former member of 1/5 in the summer of 2003 provide a rare glimpse into the souls of America's warriors. From their first full-scale battle at Saddam Canal to dealing with the fog of war at a roadblock on the streets of Baghdad, we witness in these men the essence of conflict, both personal and professional, as seen through the ages. The film serves as both an intensely personal oral history and a chilling snapshot of events that would give way to the future in Iraq.

Immediately following the latest weigh-in when Adam was voted off the ranch, the remaining eleven contestants learn that they will immediately leave for their new training site to work with their new trainers for the week: Camp Pendleton with the US Marine Corps. Upon arrival at camp, some are buoyed by the discipline they feel they require to achieve their weight loss goal, while others feel they can't handle the boot camp style of training. They learn that everything they do, part of the marine code, is to work as a team and never to leave one of their team behind. Their first task is to hike with full gear to their barracks. Their team challenge for the week is to complete an obstacle course as a team, each member having a thirty pound pack on their back, which they can redistribute amongst their team members as the team sees fit. The winning and losing team are only as strong as their weakest team member. The winning team's reward is telephone calls from home. Bob and Jillian resume their training roles for the last chance workout, but are concerned about what has happened during the week when they were not present. At the weigh-in, the last contestant to weigh in has an unusual prediction.
