When Nath and Tibby swim to the opposite side of the pond, Teller is watching them from a wooded area. He is close enough to see them climb out, and he reacts when Tibby tells Nath that she likes to be kissed. However, when Meg calls them for dinner, a view of the opposite side of the pond shows that the nearest trees to be 50-60 yards from the pond.
When Teller is pushed into the river, he falls near a big rock. In the next scenes, the rock is a few yards away.
When bedridden with a broken leg and Nath sneaks into her bedroom, Meg is wearing a sexy nightgown falling down off her bare shoulders. In the morning when her mother wakes her, she is wearing a different outfit, a very conservative top with a collar buttoned to the neck.
Nath arrives home in a yellow school bus marked UNION HIGH SCHOOL. Yet, he wears a varsity sweater with an 'S' on it rather than a 'U'. However, the 'S' could stand for the name of the school mascot (e.g., "SPARTANS"), rather than the school's name. Also, some schools are organized under a regional Union School district, but retain their local identity for sports and other extracurricular activities.
(at around 38 mins) Nath puts his hand right on some barbed wire.
