Goofs

At the beginning, a Pan Am 707 takes off. It lands a few seconds later with a different livery/paint scheme. The red stripe along the fuselage had changed to blue, and color appears around the base of the tail fin.

In the driving scene, when Bennie tells Elita he is going after Alfredo's head, the same blue and white Dodge Dart appears twice within seconds.

During Bennie's drunken drive through the country with Elita he is seen drinking a bottle of tequila throughout. The couple stop to camp and the bottle of tequila is about 1/4 full. Later, when a couple of bikers pay a visit the bottle is suddenly over 1/2 full.

Near the beginning and the end of the film there are Catholic masses celebrated in Latin. In Mexico masses were celebrated in Spanish since 1965. There are several scenes with cars of later models.

As Bennie crosses inside his apartment, alone, and talks to Alfredo's head, a crewman in black clothing is visible, ducking behind an adjacent transom. His arm reappears a second later, as Bennie reaches for a bottle in the pantry.

The barber cutting Smiley's hair is not even trying to look like he's cutting Smiley's hair.
