Revisiting the show has been fun i really enjoy the comedy from the leads and even the side characters like Ox and maxwell nerdstrom are really fun additions to the show.

SAVED BY THE BELL (1989-1992) was a really light-hearted, heart-warming sitcom that features a group of teenaged friends in Palisades, California, and their interwoven dramas, romances and adventures. &quot;A close-knit group of six friends get through their teens together while attending Bayside High School in Palisades, California.&quot; This show was something I used to watch in its original run along with a few other shows. It was a memorable show. Overall, this series was a cute teen / family sitcom with drama, romance and comedy. Recommended if you like 80&#39;s abd 90&#39;s retro throwback series. An entertaining show!

Saved by the Bell is definitely a childhood favorite, up there with other &quot;family friendly&quot; shows from the 90&#39;s such Fresh Prince, Family Matters, Full House, and others. I can&#39;t find anyone that does not like the show. I first started watching the show when I was in elementary and middle school and it gave me glorified view of high school-- something that ended up being farthest from the truth since I went to a strict Catholic school but that&#39;s another story. I give it 8 stars at of 10 because now as I watch it as college graduate,I now see how corny the show really is, but this is not a reason not to love it.

Well, after reading some comments on this board, i felt the urge to leave a comment. Some comments i agree with, some comments i disagree with, and some comments have opened my mind. However, this is possibly from my point of view the greatest teen sitcom that has ever aired even though i wasn&#39;t old enough to remember the series when it first came to TV Screens. In addition, yeah the set, the plot, the schemes are so unrealistic but people just nitpick as someone suggested in one comment. You should have just watched it for what it is and enjoyed it. At the end of the day though i know people will always nitpick, its the way it is, it life. Nevertheless, the characters fitted their roles perfectly. Kelly, wow, she was HOT, and whoever said she was ugly needs to sort their head out, Zack was a legend, reminded me of what i was like in my early years of senior school, a pain in the ass, always getting called to my year heads office, and just being a nuisance wherever i went. Slater, i didn&#39;t like him at the start but as his character changed, my opinion changed. Jessie just got on my nerves, and still does to this day when i watch it. Lisa, she was gorgeous, and i loved her character. Screech, did annoy the hell out of me sometimes when i watched it but still that boy was a legend too and had me in stitches. Well what can you say about Mr Belding? No one in their right mind would be friends with their principal/head teacher and vice versa. And the fact in the episode &#39;breaking up is hard to undo&#39; he ends up in Zacks bedroom, how unrealistic. In saying this, he was a legend. There was one character, the girl from the &#39;Fake I&#39;d&#39;s&#39; episode should have been in it more than just a single episode, only because she was HOT. Very shallow of me, i know but never mind. As for some of the episodes, i thought they were poor when Jessie and Kelly decided to leave for whatever reason and Tori replaced them. Furthermore when i was 13/14 the best episodes they didn&#39;t show enough when re-runs were shown on Nick in the early 00&#39;s, like &#39;Jessie&#39;s Song&#39;, &#39;Fake I&#39;d&#39;s&#39;, &#39;Palm Springs Weekend&#39;, and &#39;Rockumentary&#39; just spring to mind. And to be honest, people who have criticised this show in abundance, what do you think of the crap that&#39;s on nowadays? Saved by the Bell is much better television. Finally, the episodes never seemed pointless, because there was often meaning behind them. 8/10.
