When Sandra first arrives at the motel, she is wearing a coat that hangs from one shoulder, then the other, then is off both shoulders and finally over both shoulders without any adjustment being done.
Sandra is wearing a drab, cloth hair band in the pool when Steven jumps in with her. However, when she is helped from the pool, the hair band is a bright lime green. Back in the motel room, it has returned to the drab color.
When Sandra finds her husband's watch among Steven's things, Sandra's left strap to her undergarment is down over her shoulder. A split second later it is back under her clothes.
When Young Steven escapes the killers by jumping out an upstairs window, he lands in the pool and is seen from there by his older brother. The view of his body in the pool then fades into a newspaper photo with accompanying story. Who took that picture, and wouldn't Steven's brother rush to get him out of the pool?
