The title references the The Women's Army Corps that was established in 1942 to provide needed manpower and an organization in which patriotic women could join the Army. The corps was disbanded in 1978 when all soldiers male or female became soldiers in the United States' Army.

Goofs
When MSgt Hogan first appears she is called MSgt L. Hogan. Later, in future episodes her name changes to Joan Hogan. The credits for this episode have her as MSgt Joan Hogan.

More "Bilko" Scheming

In order for you to get any real entertainment value out of watching this episode of TV's "The Phil Silvers Show" you have gotta be willing to cut it some serious slack.

Anyway - As the story goes - Sgt. Bilko volunteers for a better job on the base - and the personal jeep that comes with it. Only he'll have to compete with female Sgt. Joan Hogan.

Wait till you see what happens when Bilko goes into his shtick of conniving and deception.
