The producer Gabor P. Koltai was arrested (and later released from prison) with the charges of tax fraud by movies that do not exist in reality. Magic Boys was one of the movies the Hungarian tax authority claimed to be one that was never actually made. The producer believes that the best way to challenge and rip off the charges against him is to do a countrywide theatrical release of these movies he is working on right now for many of his films. The premier date of Magic Boys in Hungary is the 18th of October 2012 to be shortly followed by Cycle, his animated science fiction (also one of the theoretically non-existing movies) in February 2013 in the theaters in 3D stereoscopic.

This will be the first English language film of the famed comedic actor/director 'Robert Koltai'.

This will be the first 'Robert Koltai' film to be filmed outside of Hungary. The film will be partially shot in the UK and Iceland.

Producer Zoltán Füredi and actor Csaba Pindroch made up the original story line when they were trying to come up with a concept for a comedy, which would be partially filmed in the Northern regions of Canada, near the North Pole.

Filmed in 2009, but only released after three years.
