Kasper's past returns to haunt him as he clears out his parents former home, whilst the Freedom Party suggest lowering the age of criminal responsibility to 12. A move that reveals fundamental differences in the coalition parties.

Just as Birgitte's new government is getting back on track after the Green Party's exit, internal strife erupts among coalition partners. This time it's from the right, as Svend Åge Madsen submits a bill to lower the age of criminal responsibility to 12 years -- an issue that splits the political system. Meanwhile, Laura is recovering from a panic attack, but Birgitte won't admit to herself that her daughter is ill.

The government faces a challenge from the Freedom party, who propose dropping the age of criminal responsibility from 14 to 12. Public opinion seems to be growing for the proposal, raising the possibility of a defeat for the government. The PM's spin-doctor, Kasper, gets personally involved, and we learn a bit more about his troubled past.
