Cate Blanchett is more than thrilled to be Thor's first female villain in Thor: Ragnarok, and as sweet as she appears in interviews, she seems to relish in this role. In an interview with EW, they ask Blanchett to explain how she feels about being Hela - The Goddess of Death.
“I think that’s where you put the period in the sentence, right? She arrives with a lot of baggage. She’s a little bit cross. She’s been locked away for millennia, getting more and more cross, and then, with a mistake, she get unleashed and she ain’t getting back in that box."
Most of the roles she has played, she has been a darling, and usually has some type of love interest. But that is not the only reason she wanted to play Hela.

Well, it didn’t take long for Riverdale — The CW’s moody, sexy new take on the classic Archie comics — to get dark, did it?
Thursday’s series premiere opens with aspiring novelist Jughead telling us how the town of Riverdale’s innocent exterior hides some nasty secrets. One of those secrets: the fate of high-school jock Jason Blossom, who vanished on the Fourth of July after an early-morning rowboat ride with his sister Cheryl. (Oh c’mon, like you didn’t take early-morning rowboat rides with your siblings growing up.) Cheryl is later found drenched on the riverside, and Jason is missing.

If you blew your last paycheck at some point between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, don't worry - celebrities couldn't resist the good sales, either. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were seen taking advantage of the insane holiday prices in NYC on Sunday, where they sweetly strolled arm in arm through the city. Justin has been busy globetrotting over the past few months to promote his latest film, Trolls, but it seems like he and Jessica make an effort to see each other regardless of their busy schedules. The Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids star recently took a break from his press tour to stop by the set of Jessica's new movie, Shock and Awe, in New Orleans, where he planted a steamy kiss on his wife, and in early November, the couple traded in their Winter gear for bathing suits during a picturesque trip to the Caribbean. Last week, I attended Paramount's Star Trek Beyond junket in Beverly Hills. I'll have a one on one interview with star and co-writer Simon Pegg coming up on the site later today, so keep your eyes peeled for that, but in the meantime, I wanted to share some of what went down at the press conference. Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, director Justin Lin, co-writer Doug Jung, producer J.J. Abrams, producer Lindsey Weber, and Pegg were all present, and over the course of two panels and about an hour and fifteen minutes, they answered questions from the assembled press.
