The Dead Thing opens with an extended montage that gives us a look at Alex and the dead-end routine that takes up her waking hours. Her job is a dead-end position that has something to do with layouts and printing and her social life is a stream of one-nighters arraigned via a hookup app named Friktion, a name that’s meant to evoke the feeling of skin on skin, but serves as an omen of the conflict it’s about to bring her way.
Throw in some Uv light therapy and avoiding her roommate Kara and that’s her existence, I say existence, because it seems a bit of a stretch to call it living. For all intents and purposes, she could be the dead thing the title speaks of.

Marvel Studios didn't regain the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four until 2019. That was the year Dark Phoenix came out and, thanks to delays caused by the pandemic, The New Mutants received its theatrical release the following year.
Rather than rush straight to rebooting the X-Men in the wake of those disasters, Marvel Studios has slowly teased the idea of characters like Ms. Marvel and Namor having the mutant gene. As for the Fantastic Four, when they debut this summer, it will be in another reality rather than as part of the Sacred Timeline.
While much has been said about a post-Avengers: Secret Wars "reboot," it's clear the groundwork is being laid for mutants to feel like an organic part of this world rather than them just magically appearing on Earth-616. That's evident from the introduction of Adamantium in Captain America: Brave New World.

Sadie Sink is now a front-runner to play Jean Grey in an X-Men reboot movie in the MCU. Marvel first teased an X-Men reboot following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox. More updates came recently as X-Men characters began appearing in several MCU films. While some fans are excited about the actress in the role, others harbor concerns regarding her age.

Many believe that Sink is too young to play Jean in the films. Earlier versions of the character in the Fox Universe were played by Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner. Sink looks younger than both these actresses, leading us to believe that Marvel might go for a story featuring much younger mutants.

It's quickly become apparent that we're going to spend the next few years dealing with a lot of X-Men casting rumours. However, if Avengers: Secret Wars ends with a soft reboot of the MCU (the prevailing theory among fans), then we may meet the team for the first time in 2027.
We also wouldn't discount the idea of Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot being released two years from now to kick off the "Mutant Saga" in style. That would certainly go some way in explaining all this recent chatter about the team, anyway.
Today, scooper @MyTimeToShineH brings word that Jurassic World Dominion star DeWanda Wise is "being considered for the role of Storm in the X-Men reboot." There's been speculation about her starring in the movie for a while, though it's an interesting possibility seeing as Wise is 40.
A few days ago, there were rumblings that Denzel Washington's mysterious Black Panther 3 role could be Magneto.

Nearly 35 years after creating Deadpool, Rob Liefeld has reached his boiling point with Marvel.
The comic book creator, who conceived the character in a 1990 issue of New Mutants, publicly cut ties with Marvel as he recounted being snubbed at the July 2024 premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine.
“It was meant to embarrass, diminish, defeat me,” he said in the latest episode of his Robservations podcast, which was titled ‘Marvel: Access Denied!’
The description of the episode reads: “Why I left Marvel Entertainment and won’t look back.”
He recalled being ignored by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige on the red carpet before finding out he and his family were not invited to the afterparty, the final straw for Liefeld. Meanwhile, Liefeld posed on the carpet with creatives from the movie but later learned those photos were deleted, as he believes they were only taken to appease him.

Deadpool Co-Creator Leaves Marvel ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Rob Liefeld, the legendary comic book artist behind Deadpool, has officially severed ties with Marvel, citing ongoing frustrations and a lack of recognition. Liefeld co-created the Merc with a Mouth in 1990 alongside Fabian Nicieza. Since then, he has had a rocky relationship with Marvel for decades, but the final straw came during the promotion of Deadpool & Wolverine. Feeling sidelined at the New York premiere and left out of key events, he publicly announced his departure from the company.
Liefeld has long been a vocal advocate for creators receiving fair acknowledgment, particularly when their work fuels billion-dollar franchises. His issues with Marvel aren’t new, but the apparent snub at Deadpool & Wolverine solidified his decision to move on. He expressed disappointment over how Marvel Studios handled the situation, contrasting it with his positive experiences during the first two Deadpool films under 20th Century Fox.

The closest we've come to a solid update on Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot is a report from the trades revealing The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes scribe Michael Lesslie is penning the screenplay.
Who knows how much has changed since then but, as far as we're aware, no director is attached and Lesslie may not even be the current writer on the project.
Despite that, the casting rumours continue coming in thick and fast. Yesterday, we shared a breakdown of the actors who are supposedly in the running for X-Men. And today, we have possible Mister Sinister casting!
According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, Marvel Studios is eyeing Dune, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and Skyfall star Javier Bardem to play the iconic X-Men villain in the MCU. You may recall that he was once said to be in line to play The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Galactus.

Sony Pictures' Kraven the Hunter is now available on Digital platforms, and its final box office numbers are in.
The studio's latest Ssu movie took in just $59 million worldwide over the course of its box office run. While this doesn't put it on the same level as something like 20th Century Fox's The New Mutants (just over $20 million), for example, factoring in Kraven's budget - reportedly over $150 million before P&a - and length of time in theaters marks it as one of the lowest-grossing superhero movies of all time (even the much-maligned Madame Web managed to pass $100M).
Kraven's failure may have effectively served as the final nail in the coffin for these Spider-Man-less Spider-Man spin-offs, but there may be life in the Ssu yet. Deadline recently reported that Sony is "taking this misfire very seriously," and "has a reset in store."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter is the latest (and hopefully the last) Ssu film to bomb at the box office. The superhero genre in general and Sony’s Spider-Man Universe in particular have lost millions of dollars recently. However, fans would be surprised to know that neither Kraven and Madame Web nor The Marvels are among the 10 lowest-grossing films of the 21st century.

There are Marvel, DC, and even a James Gunn movie on this list. Some films are downright bad while others didn’t manage to appeal to a large crowd. These box office numbers vary from $23 million all the way down to around $30,000.

Steven Spielberg is one of the most beloved directors in the history of cinema. Stephen King is one of the most prolific writers in all of popular literature. A big collaboration between these two titans has always felt like a wonderful idea. Spielberg has tried hard to make it happen, as the "Jurassic Park" and "Lincoln" director has long held the rights to King and Peter Straub's book "The Talisman." Despite 40 years of trying, no movie ever materialized. Why not?
King was recently a guest on the latest episode of "The Kingcast," co-hosted by Eric Vespe and Anthony Breznican. In the episode, the author discussed Spielberg's never-realized film adaptation of the 1984 epic. Here's what King had to say about it:

There's been a lot of casting buzz surrounding Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot lately, with Stranger Things star Sadie Sink a supposed frontrunner for Jean Grey and The Bear's Ayo Edebiri potentially among those being eyed for Storm. We've also heard that Gambit and Kitty Pryde will be in the movie.
Today, we finally have some news on the team's leader, Scott Summers/Cyclops. While it's still early days for the project - which, last we heard, is being penned by The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes scribe Michael Lesslie - it does appear as if casting is slowly beginning.

Rumor: Wicked Star Cynthia Erivo Is Being Eyed For The Role Of Storm In Marvel Studios' X-men Reboot

While a handful of MCU movies have been dated for after Avengers: Secret Wars, there's been no word on exactly when Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot will be released.
We know that Michael Lesslie (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) is penning the screenplay, but beyond that, updates have been few and far between. Unsurprisingly, social media scoopers are already dropping hints about who could play Marvel's Merry Mutants.
Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is supposedly being eyed for the role of Jean Grey and, according to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, Wicked's Cynthia Erivo is "one of the actors Marvel has been eyeing for Storm."
Sink is 22 and Erivo is 38, so that's a big age difference between the two team members. However, it's possible Marvel Studios is casting a wide net and has yet to decide whether we're getting an established team of Uncanny X-Men or a younger group of First Class-style mutants.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has done a great job with major villains from the comics and obscure foes, with some of them rising to a level of their own, striking fear into the hearts of some of the franchise's best heroes. Sadly, many of the McU's best villains have come and gone. The franchise does have a problem of killing evil characters in their first appearance, which is something Marvel has continuously received criticism for.
However, that does not mean that the MCU does not know how to handle villains well. From Thanos to Loki and more, Marvel has focused on several different types of villains, with some being fully evil while others are more complex than that. The McU's upcoming movies will introduce some exciting villains, like Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, and they could learn a lesson from the villains in the franchise who made even heroes fear them.

After Hugh Jackman's return as Wolverine, a new Avengers: Doomsday theory suggests the X-Men character could explain Doctor Doom's arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 2024 was a slim year for Marvel Studios, which only released one film. Still, Deadpool & Wolverine broke several records, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time and joining the pantheon of the best MCU movies. The project saw the return of many stars from Fox's X-Men franchise and more, with Jackman's decision to come back as Wolverine leading to a whole new version of Logan.
While Ryan Reynolds does not want to star in another Deadpool movie, the Merc With a Mouth and Jackman's new Wolverine are still likely to appear in one or both of the next two Avengers movies. The anticipated Marvel films will star Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom, who takes over from Kang the Conqueror as the main villain of the Multiverse Saga.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe's next Spider-Man film will arrive in 2026, five years after the latest of Tom Holland's Spider-Man movies was released. Since work is still being completed on the anticipated project's script, few details have emerged about Spider-Man 4's story. However, the reveal that Peter Parker will leave his life behind to fully become Spider-Man makes Black Cat's inclusion more likely, as Felicia Hardy can tread that line with Peter. Recent rumors suggested Taylor-Joy could be playing Black Cat in Spider-Man 4.

It takes a lot of work to keep a franchise alive for decades, and nobody knows this better than the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kevin Eastman. For 40 years, Eastman has shepherded the IP that he and co-writer Peter Laird launched back in 1984, although there’s been ups and downs. Under their company, Mirage Studios, the duo famously self-published Tmnt as an independent comic after being rejected by big names like Marvel and DC, and helped kickstart a movement of grassroots, creator-led books that would become big in the Nineties.

As 2024 comes to a close, a look back at all the Marvel Cinematic Universe projects released this year reveals that some moments were more impactful than others. 2024 was an atypical year for the MCU. Due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, which caused industry-wide delays, and some internal restructuring at Marvel, the MCU only released Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters. However, the film has become one of the McU's best movies, featuring many exciting moments.
Aside from multiple entries from Deadpool & Wolverine, the list of best 2024 MCU moments also includes key events from the Marvel Studios TV series that were released this year. The McU's 2025 movies and shows will have a hard time topping some of these moments, as Marvel Studios managed to have a fantastic year despite the delays the franchise had to deal with. The Marvel Cinematic Universe had some amazing superhero costumes in 2024, adding to the long list of live-action adaptations of comic book suits that have shined on the big and small screens, and some of them did so brighter than the rest. The original Avengers have led a few of the best movies in the MCU and also wore some of the best costumes the franchise has seen. However, they were not the only characters to get comic book-accurate costumes.
2024 was a good year for the shared universe in that regard, with the McU's only movie of 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine, offering some exciting superhero costumes that fans had long wanted to see in a live-action movie or series. As is the nature of superhero franchises, all MCU movies and series have featured a superhero costume of some sort, and here are the very best of them in no specific order.

Native American actors have been getting their much-deserved dues in recent years in Hollywood, with younger and older Indigenous actors benefiting from more opportunities. Native Americans, Indigenous peoples, and First Nations peoples are all names for the peoples who can trace their origins to the original tribes, confederations, and communities that called America home long before any Europeans came ashore. Persecuted from the outset, even modern Hollywood is not free from the sin of disrespecting and disenfranchising Native American actors. There’s a long, sad history of Hollywood whitewashing Indigenous roles, that is when they’re even included at all.
But the story has been changing in the 21st century. Native American movies and TV shows are telling real stories of Indigenous peoples, made by and starring those closest to them. With shows like Reservation Dogs and Dark Winds, and movies like Rez Ball proving popular with critics and audiences alike,...

Once again, there are rumblings online about Black Cat potentially factoring into Spider-Man 4. We've been hearing similar chatter for a while and the news that Anya Taylor-Joy is being eyed for a role in the movie only seems to have generated a fresh wave of speculation.
Black Cat's introduction in the Spider-Man: No Way Home follow-up makes perfect sense.
Nobody remembers who Peter Parker is and the comics have established that, early on at least, Felicia has zero interest in the man beneath the mask. Reeling from the loss of Mj, the wall-crawler heading down a dark path seems like a logical next step and Black Cat would surely facilitate that after getting her claws into him.
Spider-Man franchise producer Amy Pascal was asked directly about the Taylor-Joy/Black Cat rumours at a recent press event and responded, "She would be fantastic. She’s amazing, [but] we’re not quite at that stage yet.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga may have underperformed, but Anya Taylor-Joy has still established herself as a highly bankable and in-demand star, so it was probably only a matter of time before a major superhero franchise came calling.
According to Daniel Richtman, Taylor-Joy is being "eyed" for an undisclosed role in Spider-Man 4.
We're not sure if she's actually in talks or is simply someone Marvel/Sony is interested in, but we have previously heard that the studios were in the process of casting a new female lead.
This wouldn't be Taylor-Joy's first brush with the Marvel universe, as she played Illyana Rasputin/Magik in 20th Century Fox's ill-fated The New Mutants. She was also believed to be up for the role of Silver Surfer in The Fantastic Four: First Steps prior to Julia Garner landing the gig.

Anya Taylor-Joy may be about to join the MCU, according to a new report about Marvel Studios' Spider-Man 4.
Taylor-Joy is coming off a banner year, planting her flag in two separate tentpole franchises after appearing in Dune: Part 2 in a spoilery role and taking on leading lady duties in George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
However, one major name she has yet to strike from her blockbuster bucket list is the MCU. The Queen's Gambit star previously appeared in a Marvel production by playing the X-Men hero Magik in Fox's New Mutants, but she has yet to make it over to a proper Marvel Studios project.

I'm surprised that the last three superhero movie franchises developed by Marvel and DC, outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Universe, have all ended in the same disappointing way. In the last few decades, there have been many attempts at adapting epic events and characters from Marvel and DC Comics into some huge and expansive live-action movie franchises. I'm not alone in favoring Marvel Studios' ever-growing MCU, while the new Dcu, under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, is also looking promising, but not all superhero movie franchises have been so lucky.
Outside the MCU and the newly-rebooted Dcu, 20th Century Fox's X-Men Universe, the DC Extended Universe and Sony's Spider-Man Universe have all delivered their own interpretations of these stories from Marvel and DC Comics. All these franchises have also come to an end, the most recent being the Ssu, with 2024's...

Marvel's beloved X-Men are known for their varied and diverse power sets, granted to them by the X-Gene they were born with. However, above all other mutant powers, the "Telepath Class" remains one of the most popular, and powerful. From cosmic heroes like Jean Grey to disturbing villains like the Shadow King, the X-Men's telepaths are some of the strongest minds on Earth, and perhaps even the galaxy. Determining the most "powerful" psychic mutant is complex because it begs the question of how one should analyze raw power, experience, and control, all of which play crucial roles in the development of a psychic.
Psychics have been around since 1965s debut X-Men #1, which introduced the disgraced X-Men mentor Charles Xavier - an extremely powerful telepath - as well as Jean Grey, a young psychic who would eventually become the Phoenix, a cosmic being capable of vast psychic talent. Ever since then,...

For the past decade, Deadpool has become an unlikely success story as the raunchy outsider upended Hollywood norms, broke box office records and reached new heights with this summer’s $1.3 billion grosser, Deadpool & Wolverine. The character also transformed Ryan Reynolds into one of the biggest movie stars in the world.
But more quietly, the man who birthed Deadpool has parlayed that success into rewards almost unheard of for any comic book creator. Over the past year, writer-artist Rob Liefeld capitalize on the cachet from the character with a multiple deals involving producers and studios hoping to find “the next Deadpool.”
In April, ahead of Deadpool’s July opening, Warner Bros. picked up the rights to Avengelyne, based on a fallen angel character cast down to Earth comic from the 1990s. The A-list package has Olivia Wilde attached to direct and Margot Robbie and Simon Kinberg attached to produce. That deal...

A brilliant new Deadpool & Wolverine theory provides a strong explanation for the confusion of 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise timeline. Despite being set firmly in Phase 5 of the MCU, 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine also advanced Fox's X-Men film series, which kicked off with 2000's X-Men and came to an end with 2020's The New Mutants. Led by Ryan Reynolds, the Deadpool franchise became the most popular corner of the X-Men universe, thanks in part to its separation from Fox's otherwise-confusing X-Men franchise timeline.
Deadpool & Wolverine paid homage to Fox's X-Men franchise, and bridged the gap between Fox's universe and the MCU itself. Many expected Fox's universe, now officially dubbed Earth-10005, to be destroyed in Deadpool & Wolverine, with Ryan Reynolds' titular Merc with a Mouth entering the McU's Earth-616 permanently, but the door has instead been left open for more adventures in Fox's X-Men universe to be explored.

The Gorge, a new high-concept sci-fi horror romance (we're ticking quite a few boxes here) movie directed by Scott Derrickson, is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on February 14, and the first trailer has now been released online.
The film stars Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy as two elite snipers who accept positions on either side of a mysterious gorge.
Teller's character (Levi) is told he's there to guard the gate to Hell (whether he means literally or metaphorically remains to be seen), and that he is to have no contact with the sniper in the opposite tower (Taylor-Joy's Drasa).
Of course, they eventually begin to communicate and strike up something of a medium-distance relationship, and when Levi falls while attempting to cross to the other side, Drasa straps on a parachute and follows him down.
"We really tried to be there for each other because we get along really well,...

Marvel Studios has the opportunity to fix some of the biggest mistakes in 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise now mutants are coming to the MCU. Fox's X-Men franchise kicked off with 2000's eponymous X-Men and spanned two decades, coming to an end with 2020's disappointing The New Mutants. Over 13 feature films, Fox weaved confusing continuities packed full of lackluster interpretations of Marvel Comics characters and storylines, but there is now hope that Marvel Studios will take mutants and the X-Men and treat them with much more care.

When Anya Taylor-Joy Thought She’d Never Work Again After Her Role In This Movie: “I Was Devastated”

Why Did Anya Taylor-Joy Think She’d Never Work In Hollywood Again? (Photo Credit – Instagram)
Anya Taylor-Joy, the same actress who’s now a Hollywood powerhouse, once believed The Witch would be her last role. Sounds wild, right? In 2016, Taylor-Joy’s breakout as Thomasin in Robert Eggers’ eerie period horror was met with rave reviews. But while critics sang her praises, she seriously questioned her future.
“I thought I’d never work again,” she admitted on THR’s Awards Chatter podcast. Imagine that—her very first major film role, and she’s having a full-on crisis. The actress even had a meltdown when she saw the movie for the first time at Sundance. “Rob showed us the film maybe two hours before the audience screening, and I was devastated. I thought, ‘I’ve let down everyone I love.’” Yep, she was in tears. Who knew?

Love him or hate him, there’s no question that Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld has left an indelible mark on comic book history. Co-created with writer Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool has grown into one of Marvel’s most popular characters, but there are relatively few comics starring the Merc with the Mouth drawn by Liefeld himself.
Rob Liefeld was one of Marvel’s biggest artists before he left with six others to form Image Comics in 1992. As such, Liefeld drew Deadpool only a handful of times before breaking off on his own. Recent years have seen the artist produce more comics starring Wade Wilson, but now that Liefeld has announced he’ll be leaving Marvel once more following the wrap-up of the current Deadpool Team-Up miniseries, it seems like the perfect time to look back on the artist’s best work for his signature character.

I think we can all agree that Lobo and Deadpool are two of the most beloved characters from their respective companies. Even when DC doesn't know what to do with him, Lobo remains one of their most entertaining characters. Meanwhile, Deadpool plays a big part in keeping the lights on over at Marvel, both onscreen and on-panel. Their bombastic personalities are why I'm such a fan of them both.
That in mind, one thing needs to be said: Lobo is just the original version of Deadpool. Before you start ripping me to shreds, I'd like you to hear me out first. This isn't a slight against any character or their fans because, again, I'm a fan of both nor is the comparison meant to take anything away from Deadpool, but it is worth an honest side-by-side appraisal of the characters.
More than anything, the comparison hopes to highlight that as popular as Deadpool is today,...

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was on hand for the opening of the Disney Apac Content Showcase in Singapore today, and shared an exciting update about plans for the X-Men.

While we know that Michael Lesslie (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) is penning the screenplay, updates have otherwise been few and far between.
Talking about bringing the X-Men into the MCU, Feige said, "I think you will see that continues in our next few movies with some X-Men players that you might recognize. Right after that, the whole story of Secret Wars really leads us into a new age of mutants and of the X-Men."

And while characters like Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are some of the most memorable, there’s one who’s truly won over the hearts of fans. After a journey of growth and self-discovery, Arya Stark’s story wrapped up with an open ending, hinting that she’d keep exploring the unknown. With so many new projects in the Got universe, could she make a return? That just might be part of George R. R. Martin’s plan.

Maisie Williams is potentially reuniting with the Game of Thrones creator. Williams spent nearly a decade as Arya Stark on a show that brought in nearly 14 million viewers at its height. While Arya Stark sailed to the West of Westeros at the end of the series, it was not the end of the universe as a whole. There are several more shows in development, including the Knight of the Seven Kingdoms spin-off, Aegon's Conquest, and House of the Dragon season 3. Williams could be joining the next production.
In a post on his personal Not a Blog website, author George R. R. Martin hinted at a reunion with Williams. While explaining his visit to London in August, he described meeting with her for a meal. He did not share what the pair discussed, but he mentioned that he does believe it may potentially result in something that "could be so much...

Warning: Contains spoilers for X-Force #5!With tens of millions of mutants around, the X-Men have been home to plenty of powerful, complex people. Some still stand out from the crowd, and I've always believed Noriko Ashida, aka Surge, to be one of them. From her early days as an Academy X student to recently joining Forge's X-Force, she's been a personal favorite, and I'm left shocked and disappointed by her recent death in X-Force.
X-Force #5 continues the teams battle against the ultra-strong Nuklo as he attempted to link Nexus Points and bring untold numbers of monsters into the world. It was a dire situation (as they always are), with Nuklo's only real weakness being electricity. As all the other heroes failed, I could see a huge heroic moment on the horizon for Nori.
I wasn't wrong, but I didn't expect it to cost her life when the new X-Force is just beginning.

When news broke on Thursday that Simon Kinberg — best known for being a writer, producer, director or all of the above on much of the “X-Men” franchise — had been hired by Lucasfilm to write and produce a new “Star Wars” trilogy, it came as a surprise to many executives at Lucasfilm and Disney. The project is considered internally to be in deep development and not nearly ready to be made public.
There was also some surprise within the wider industry that Lucasfilm had turned to Kinberg as the newest steward of “Star Wars” on the big screen. According to multiple industry sources with experience working in the franchise space, Kinberg is seen on one level as a sensible and safe choice. Starting with 2005’s “XXX: State of the Union” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” his films as a screenwriter have grossed more than $3.3 billion worldwide. Beyond the “X-Men” films, he’s also produced “Cinderella,...

Deadpool & Wolverine became one of the most successful movies of all time, helping to push Hugh Jackman's turn as the iconic Marvel character over a new milestone. Jackman's last performance as the character prior to Deadpool & Wolverine was in Logan back in 2017, which was originally going to be the last time Jackman portrayed Wolverine after playing the character for over two decades in various X-Men movies. Things changed, of course, and Hugh Jackman reprized his role once more, helping lead the franchise into greater success than ever before.
Deadpool & Wolverine proved that Hugh Jackman still had what it took to play Wolverine, opening up the possibility for his return in other upcoming MCU projects. Jackman as Wolverine has proven to be financially successful since 2000, but it was Deadpool & Wolverine that took him past an incredibly impressive box office milestone.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness might not have received top compliments from critics, but we cannot disagree that it brought us the baddest version of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlett Witch. Obsessed with bringing her family back, Wanda turns to dark magic to wander through universes.

With the Darkhold, she was able to transfer her consciousness to a counterpart of herself in other worlds and bend them to their will, even if it meant turning the mighty Illuminati into pasta. Now, a new theory suggests that Wanda might not be the first Marvel character to have dreamwalked in the superhero universe.
