Getting the film financed was the hardest task of any in its creation, according to director Wolff. He recalled in several interviews how, in spite of his long career in acting and music, numerous people in the film industry were not even interested in hearing about his movie. His advice to young filmmakers has been to never give up, and never believe they can't succeed in making a movie.
