Where are all the Reacher fans? Its spinoff, which was given a series order back in October 2024 by Prime Video, has finally revealed its official title. Oh, but that's not all. There's even more exciting news. New casting additions have been announced! Keep reading for all the juicy details.

When the Reacher spinoff series was announced last year, it was confirmed that the show would focus on fan-favorite character Frances Neagley, Reacher's trusted confidante and long-time colleague. Danish actress Maria Sten was also announced to reprise the role.

Additionally, Nick Santora, the executive producer and showrunner of Reacher, teamed up with Nicholas Wootton to develop the series. The pair had previously worked together on the crime drama Prison Break. Reacher season 3 will be reaching the Prime Video streaming service very soon, with the first three episodes of the new season dropping on February 20th and the remaining episodes airing every Thursday until March 27th. With that three episode premiere date right around the corner, a trailer for Reacher season 3 has made its way online. However, late last year, a Frances Neagley-focused series was officially ordered at Amazon. The show, officially titled Neagley, will star Maria Sten as the titular character.

The series has started production and Variety reports that five new names have been added to the cast as regulars. The actors cast on the show are Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley; Jasper Jones (King Ivory) as Keno; Adeline Rudolph as Renee; Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow; and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole.

Exclusive: Longtime Berlanti Productions executive Jonathan Gabay has been named President of Television for film and TV production company Rideback, which recently re-upped its first-look TV deal at CBS Studios. Reporting to Rideback co-CEOs Jonathan Eirich and Michael LoFaso, Gabay will lead TV development and production, overseeing a team that includes Rideback VP Television Courteney Tarantin.

Black Bear is launching Bad Boy, a new breed of genre film that charts a young woman’s fight to escape a deadly serial killer through the eyes of man’s best friend, his faithful dog. There have been plenty of kids films and some dramas told from an animal’s perspective, but not many horror films.

From the producer of Longlegs, Dave Caplan, and M3gan, Divide/Conquer’s Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath, the film is set to star Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All At Once) and Lili Reinhart (Hustlers). Genre director Jacob Chase will direct Travis Braun’s Black List-topping script. Dave Caplan’s company C2 will also fully finance. Filming is due to start in August in Canada.

Lili Reinhart opened up about struggles with her body while filming the final season of Riverdale.

In a recent interview, the 28-year-old actress revealed that she had been struggling with chronic illness and was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis.

Elsewhere in the conversation, she said that she had struggled with “gut issues and inexplicable weight gain” while filming the sixth season of her hit show in 2022. While she was tested for a variety of illnesses at the time, a diagnosis wasn’t clear.

Wise Lyall has been appointed SVP Scripted Programming and Development at the A+E Networks channel. It comes after she left The CW last year as it went through a round of layoffs.

She will now oversee Lifetime’s movie production strategy and scripted co-productions, spearheading development and execution of original films, as well as strategic partnerships and acquisitions.

Reggie Mantle is a major supporting character in Riverdale, having a role across all seven seasons of the show. Originally created back in 1942, Reggie served as the rival to Archie Andrews in the Archie Comics, and the two would essentially be frenemies for a large portion of their comic book history. When it comes to the live-action Riverdale adaption that began in 2017, the show leaned on that rivalry, with Reggie largely acting as an antagonistic force to Archie through the first season.

The Christmas movie sensation of 2024 isn't "Red One," nor is it any of the other non-Christmasy holiday releases like "Wicked," "Gladiator II" or "Moana 2." Okay, it might be "Hot Frosty." But if it's not "Hot Frosty," it's most assuredly Jaume Collet-Serra's crackerjack action-thriller "Carry-On." Currently streaming on Netflix, "Carry-On" is an unabashed B-movie -- Collet-Serra's speciality dating back to programmers like "House of Wax" and "Orphan" -- that harkens back to the '80s and '90s era of tightly paced and constructed action flicks like "Die Hard," "Under Siege," and "Speed." These films weren't mega-budget blowouts, but they did have studio-level production value. There were no corners being cut, and no dodgy CGI; you always had the sense that you were watching a big movie made with professional pride. And best of all, you didn't have to plunge into a series of books to get acquainted with the films' larger mythology.
