Eiza González was originally cast but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Alexandra Shipp replaced her.
Michael Fassbender and Alexandra Shipp previously co-starred in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019) where Fassbender played Magneto and Shipp played Storm.
The film was completed in September 2019. However legal problems with investors has held it back from being released.
Jorma Taccone and Michael Fassbender were both born in 1977 but were only in a month and two weeks apart from each other. Taccone was born on March 19th and Fassbender was born on April 2nd.
