Wonderful film. Well-scripted and acted. And great to see strong, central female characters, and women in their prime (e.g. Older than forty) shown in the midst of their working lives, e.g not just reduced to being wives and mothers. A real gift. Wish there were more movies like this out there.

I find this family dramedy the best film I've seen so far in 2020. I Love the Japanese diretor's insightful sensibility, his ability to explore the reasons and perspectives of each person involved. It makes you feel part of the event.
