Colton Donovan is smoking hot and what makes this series. He meets Rylee backstage at a charity event for a program involving group foster homes. He kisses her and thus starts this endless pursuit of Colton's to have sex with Rylee.
Both Rylee and Colton have damage or baggage from their past that is preventing them from having happy loving relationships. They have filmed book one in its entirety and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the series pans out...can they heal each other?
Amazing chemistry between these two and worth watching just for that!
Just wanted to add that this series inspired me to read the books, which I am so glad I did. It is an amazing series. Thank you, Passionflix, Tosca Musk, Casey Deidrick, and K. Bromberg!
I can't wait to see how season two holds up with an actor change for Colton.
I really appreciate the seriousness and sensitivity given to portraying steamy sex scenes on film. I also recognize that part of that can only be done when actors, particularly actresses are willing to allow their bodies to be shown for their art/craft. Along those lines, thank you Olivia Grace Applegate for allowing such spectacular sex scenes to be filmed!

It's really hard to see your favorite books become a movie. So many discrepancies, will the actors live up to the hype, will they really bring it? I can honestly say I was worried after watching Fifty Shades. Loved the actors and they had some chemistry and managed to pull it off. It was ok.
So imagine how I felt seeing them take my #1 favorite series and turn it into a movie. I thought no way. They can't pull it off. I put my trust in Kristy Bromberg, the author, when she gave it her stamp of approval. I just KNEW she wouldn't let her beloved series just become another statistic.
I went to the premiere and was so excited and still a bit scared. All I can say is that THIS should be on the big screen in theaters. THIS movie, the actors Casey and Olivia, brought the heat and passion on like no other I've ever seen!!!
HOLY CANNOLIS!!!! It wasn't sexual, it was SENSUAL. Anyone can simulate sex (FSOG) but to have that connection between 2 characters and convey it on screen--SWEET JESUS they pulled it off. Casey was Colton 101% and Olivia brought Rylee to live just as described in the books. Her feistiness, her facial expressions her connection to Colton/Casey was as if they could read each other's thoughts.
Tosca Musk did an incredible job!!! She and her entire crew brought to life my favorite books and I have no regrets that she did. I would LOVE a do over of FSOG through her eyes with this cast. Their chemistry is so spot on it's amazing.
Great job Passionflix and Thank You Casey and Olivia for going above and beyond to make this the best love story out there!! And Kristy---I'm so excited for you that your dreams of having a few readers has turned into THIS!!!
I Race You!!!!

I watched both seasons before picking up the book (compilation of 3 parts with additional chapters from Coltons side of things - might have colored my opinion on the story and Colton).
Most of positive raving 10 star reviews comes from people who read the book first. People who gave worse reviews based them only on the show. I think both sides are wrong. It's certainly not as good as most people rating it think. But it's also not as bad as others think - there's an obvious improvement in the second season.
Season 2 is just as cheesy as the first one, just with better acting. The story it self is pretty interesting and it gets better later on, definitely better than typical Hallmark Christmas Romance movie, especially since we can expect some action in future seasons.
Here are my issues with Driven as a show: Certain cheesines works better on paper than screen, adaptation might have been to literal. With the exception of one scene that was so very obviously altered (it's a minor alteration, but still) to seemingly benefit from continuous popularity of a certain movie/book at the time Driven was first filmed. Completely unnecessary and out of character for both of them, to the point I was sure it was not in the source material even without reading the book. Also who keeps that ready to go in their kitchen drawers?
Furthermore, while Casey Deidrick is a talented actor, I had couple of issues with his performance. There is no chemistry between him and Olivia Grace Applegate, he had trouble making the cheesy dialog believable and his Colton read as an complete ass (there is this lack of vanerablity in his performance that the character has). At this point in story (end of S01) Colton doesn't show much of his wounded side, just the moody broody side so it's not like Deidrick had much to work with. And yet the difference in performances is especially visible during the first scene of season 2. It's the same as the last scene of season 1 just with Michael Roark as Colton. Once you get over the jarring experience of an actor change (I was not aware of it before watching) this couple of seconds just hits differently. It's all in the eyes.
Olivia Grace Applegate will not shock you with her performance but at least in season 2 she actually has onscreen chemistry with Micheal Roark (Staircase scene S02 - no actual sex and yet 10 times hotter than anything on season 1).
All in all it's a better book than series and unless you are already a fan of books or just enjoy terrible romance movies don't waste your time.

The original central character,Colton Donovan ( Casey Deidrick) is Very, very believable, flawed, pure sex- the character straight out of the Bromberg novel. His connection to Olivia Applegate/ Rylee, is perfect. They are lovers, adversaries, and the tension between these two pours off the screen.
If you want a tight story, the best of actors, the purest of emotions and sexual chemistry, you will love the first in the series, DRIVEN.
-------- Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the part of Colton from Season 2 on, is played by Michael Roarke. Sorry, but he simply does not have the acting chops that Deidrick has.
The "chemistry" with Olivia, the believability of emotions and pure sexual tension, does not exist. The audience now goes From gut wrenching realism to Flat and emotionless lines delivered, He simply is not Good enough to play Colton as created by Bromberg.
Sad: From a grade A movie to a lot, lot less for the rest of the Series. No interest in watching.

Bad acting, bad quality and just bad altogether.
Only plus is the fact that the male lead actor is pretty hot.
I suggest reading the book first then watching this movie. Passionflix captures the book so well. Grateful that there will be 6 series to Driven so that the meat/juice of the book is captured and not on an editing floor.
Absolutely love this!!! The chemistry between main actors is amazing!!
Couldn't make it past the first episode. Saying the acting is poor is an understatement. The story line, even worse if that's even possible. Don't be fooled by everyone else's good review, I can assure you this will be the worst series your eyes have laid on if you decide to put yourself through torture.

As a fan of the book series, the movie had me on edge. All of my concerns diaappeared the moment I saw what an amazing job the casting team did in selecting the actors. Casey Deidrick is the perfectly imperfect Colton & Olivia Applegate embodies the soul of Rylee. Their chemistry on screen is HOT and definitely NSFW. Tosca Musk and the creative team at Passionflix made sure all of the important details were there as K. Bromberg's superfans would be most critical - we're extremely protective of our favorite book boyfriend. The response in the Facebook fan groups has been immensely positive and fans have become smitten with both Casey & Olivia. Their dedication to make these characters jump out of the book and onto the screen as Kristy imagined them and put them to paper has blown away all of our expectations. At this time I have only seen the first 3/6 episodes but having read the book I am eager to see how the rest of this plays out. There's a certain *sweet* scene coming up that is sure to burn up the screen.
Note: Originally scheduled to be edited to a movie. While editing it was decided to be released as 6 episodes with 3 releasing on August 10th, 2018, and the remaining 3 will be released on August 24th, 2018. The next 2 books in the Driven have been optioned so look for updates on Fueled and Crashed from PassionFlix. These movies are based on the Driven book series by K. Bromberg.

The first season was so awesome!! Sexy and exciting. Hated that we had to change characters for the second season. Can't wait to see more. Passionflix is rocking these books to movies.

This is simply an amazing adaptation of the book. The casting is spot on! Casey Deidrick and Olivia Applegate are so perfect as Colton and Rylee - and their chemistry is off the charts. HOT HOT HOT. There could not have been better choices for these characters. Their story is a beautiful and emotional one - and I cannot wait for all the rest of not only this first series, but the ones to come. Read the books, watch the movies - you will NOT be sorry that you did!

How in the world can someone rate this to 10 stars. The plot is terrible and I have a hard time believing anything due to really bad acting.
More laughable than believable...

Excellent adaptation! The movie was sexy while staying true to the book's important storylines and its beloved characters. Passionflix keeps getting better!
It was super hot and steamy and the chemistry was so believable. Casey was the perfect guy for the part. Aside from the fact that he did a way better job playing the part, he's way hotter. I just started the series and I will now no longer be finishing it. It's not the same and lost its steam. I literally created this Imbd account just to write this review. I'm sure I'm not the only viewer lost because of this. The chemistry between the two is just not there. The guy may do it for someone out there but not for me. Casey is hard to follow. Those deep brown eyes and those pouty lips. Mmmm. Really disappointed that he is no longer playing this role.

Book to Movie adaptation was outstanding. Casey and Olivia had great chemistry enjoyed feeling all the emotions. Please hurry with the next one and do not change the characters....
So awesome to see a book I love come to life on screen. Casey, Olivia and the rest of the cast did such an amazing job bringing these great characters to life. I wish it was longer. Can't wait for the next books to come to life!!

I paid for that! Lmao.. Sweet jesus that was horrible! Should have just left it a book series. The actress that played Rylee didn't fit the book character at all.. I dont understand why this would be released without doing the whole series of books... Makes for a long drawn out ordeal... This isn't 50 shades...smh
I watched the series first because I never heard of the book. And where the series ended, I just had to know everything because I could see the pain in Colton's eyes. Having said that, the acting by both Casey and Olivia is beyond perfection and the casting, bravo passionflix, it's like actual Colton and Rylee coming to life. I read the book after watching it and I'm so obsessed with this. And while reading Driven I realized the adaptation couldn't have been better. It just so perfect, the casting, the acting, the dialogues, the writing, everything is just as it should've been. I'm so glad I came across Driven while randomly finding something to watch. After Fifty Shades this is the only Trilogy that I can say is much much much better than that. I was a die hard fifty shades fan but after Watching DRIVEN, I've changed my mind. Every romance lover should watch it. If you have read the book, it's a must watch. And if you haven't you'll be forced to read it after watching it and trust me you wouldn't regret. Can't wait for Fueled and Crashed. And Ik they might have found another perfect Colton but Casey will be the best Colton.
The first season was great because Casey Dietrick is hot and can actually act. The rest of this was just bad primarly due to the actor they got to replace him. His acting was horrible, stilted, like he was learning how to as he was going. Casey actually brought some emotion to role, boy can that guy cry on cue! But the new guy just looked and acted like an overly muscled brute with Neanderthal tendencies. You woman, me man, you mine. The sex scenes with Casey were hot; with the new guy, they were just gross. Sorry, but I'd recommend watching the first season and leaving it there, and then reading the books for the second and third seasons. That way you can imagine Casey in the role.

Kristy wrote and outstanding Driven series and Passionflix did an outstanding job making the book into a series!!!. Can't wait to see what Passionflix does with Fueled & Crashed!!! Casey (Colton) & Olivia (Rylee) did phenomenal. They put so much emotion into their characters. Must read and then watch the series and you can see how true to the book it is. Audible is also great to listen to as well.
I can't say enough good things about Driven. The entire series by Kristy Bromberg was so well written. I couldn't put the books down. I'll admit I was a little concerned about how the book would transfer to film. But I had absolutely nothing to be worried about. All six episodes of Driven captured the book perfectly. Casey Deidrick and Olivia Applegate were excellent as Colton and Rylee. Their chemistry was off the charts. I can't wait for the next two books to be made into movies next year. Congratulations to Kristy, Passionflix and the entire cast for a job well done.
