We all know 'reality' tv is very manipulated and not reality at all. This was next level fake drama in my opinion

I like the contender/fight camp type concept but teaching obese 30 yr olds boxing to change their lives makes zero sense. There is much more appropriate 'help' that could be provided for a number of the cast members

The constant failures doing basic 'team and confidence building' activities was telling (The abseilling attempt in the last episode told it all) and they still tried to act like this was a life defining moment with the ridiculous over the top fake drama

The sparring was ridiculous in most cases. Seems like this was an Idris thing to scratch his ego

Terrible.

I really wanted to like this, I like what I have seen of Rhys harby in the past. There is plenty of room for some great laughs in a pirates show and was hoping for some Black Adder level humour but its not there

I like silly humour but this show is not funny at all

Have only watched first 2 episodes so far so will watch a couple more, but its painful.
