Was it just me? Or did this 90 minute production feel as though it was hacked together and rushed out. I went on and on about Chaos, begging people to read it, it absolutely had me captivated, what a binge read, I don't think it translated well here.
Massively overproduced, it jumps from one theory to the next, not explaining anything in that process, if moves from cutaway to split screen interviews in the most erratic fashion.
Honestly just stick to the book instead, it truly is the most fascinating read, contrast that to this chaotic film, night and day.
Good luck if you can stick with it, I found myself skipping back to try and see what point they were tying to make.
There's clearly some interesting footage, but it's lost in a myriad of cutaways and shots.
Netflix, this sucked.

Reggie revels in the freedoms that come with his new life, only he is missing Elizabeth and some of the old associations, Reggie takes a trip down memory lane, to his old house and Sunshine Desserts, posing as an Italian, a Welshman, A Scotsman and more.
Superb, utterly superb, it's a great penultimate episode from this wonderful first series, it's so funny, so clever, and best of all it showcases the incredible talents of Leonard Rossiter.
Rossiter really does deliver a tour de force here, every single one of Rossiter's characters are on point, I especially loved that Italian. What a fabulous actor Rossiter was, just brilliant.
You can understand why Reggie did what he did, being as stressed as hell in my job, I understand the appeal, I get it, I love the idea of just jumping on a train to somewhere new.
Hilary Mason and Charmian May are both an absolute scream.

Barry is delighted that Hazel has agreed to marry him and the couple are delighted to announce their news with a magnum of champagne. Barry's difficulty is selecting the best man, Ally and Kenny spot an opportunity, and when the wedding looks like being canceled, Ally puts on a charm offensive to keep it going ahead.
I've really enjoyed this second series, it's been so different to the first, it has been a bit more hit and miss, but these last couple of episodes have been great, this final installment was excellent, so light, so much fun.
I love that the episode was dedicated to Gary Holton, it felt so right, he was an integral part of the show, I suppose we should all be happy that he filmed the vast majority of the series.
We definitely get to see Ally's true colours in this final episode, he's a real monster, but of course our Dennis is up to him, fortunately he sees through the crooked Scotsman. Vicky's storyline was definitely quite something, bringing out the best in Oz.
That ending, that was hilarious, talk about unexpected! Oz's vase, that's typical of hin
This show must have been a welcome break from the misery of Thatcher's Britain.
